Cheio De Dedos by Guinga

Sora H.

  • Learning "Cheio De Dedos" composed by Brazilian guitarist and songwriter Guinga was a challenge. Cheio De Dedos translates to "Full of fingers" in Portuguese. The main reason I chose this piece was to challenge my right and lefthand finger coordination. On the recording, there is a guitar accompanying Guinga playing the melody so I decided to transcribed the chords and accompany myself with some rhythm and a little percussion too.

  • I'm bad at socializing. But through jamming with others I feel like I belong somewhere even if our tastes differ. Playing guitar has helped me with my anxiety, communication skills, and making friends but most importantly taught me to love myself for who I am and what I can do.
