Rain (Original)

Nataan H.

  • Listening to the rain droplets outside pitter-patter on my window inspired me to write this song while I was sick at home and name it "Rain". I made sure to capture the emotion that the rain gave me and include elements of different intensities of rainfall. When I write in this style of music, I tend to improvise the whole thing and then backtrack to see which parts are worth keeping. While making this song in particular, I decided to keep the whole song because it really spoke to me.

  • Growing up in a predominately white community, I was among the most ethnically diverse people through eighth grade. Creating music, especially with other artists, gives me a strong sense of community and helps me battle my anxiety. Whenever I have free time, I spend it writing and producing music.
