"Where I'm From" is a special one for me. I created this short film with the intent of it being nostalgic and youthful, as well as completely authentic to my childhood experience. Growing up in Petaluma, California, I filmed at several locations that meant something to me. Additionally, everything that I touched on in the narration has some significance to me.

The story of a karate teacher's journey into the martial arts and teaching.

This film is about a former dancer reflects on their childhood and how their actions have changed them while testing how much change they can handle.

It was a cool experience because it happened after I got inspiration from a film I was watching at my local theatre, so me and my sibling left early to go make this movie at like 8PM.

I made this while in New York and it represents to me what New York is. Whether it is the creativity, the mood and passion there, the amazing people, or the energy in the city, it shows my experience and love for the city.

This piece was created for my IB HL film class. The prompt was "stranger at the door". I wrote, directed, and edited this short film. I wanted to explore character foils in this project to create as much contrast between the two characters.

This is a filmmaking project that I made with two friends in my filmmaking class at school. We wanted to make a goofy film using the open space behind my house and we ended up with this. We made a story board which had a longer chase scene and more dialogue.

3w4 was inspired by my own personal experience with internalized misogyny, transphobia, and dissociation. It represents how it feels to be both detached and incredibly aware of your thoughts and body.

This comedic drama depicts an experience that we all have had at one time or another.

For making a short film there's a brainstorming process where I usually doodle and make word webs for my idea. Then storyboarding. Then script writing, but for this one there wasn't any dialogue so this particular short film does not have a script.

This story is centered around a main character who believes her soulmate is dangerous (although this is never truly discovered). I wanted to leave the plot open to interpretation, and so not much is explained in the video.

When I was 11 years old, I was told a story that would someday help me through one of the most challenging times of my life, nearly a decade later. For a class project, my teacher instructed me to make a poster about the “hero’s journey”. I had to find someone in my family with a unique story, then create a poster explaining each step of their heroic journey. Naturally, I chose to do my project on Nana, my grandmother.

This experimental film is my interpretation of the poem “Sociology,” by James Galvin (shown below). The music is Ron Drotos’s cover of “Revolution 9” on piano, used with permission.

This is an original song and music video I made last year for my social studies class. I wrote, produced, filmed and edited the entire thing. The song is satire about the mafia. Enjoy!

"Sister Star" displays how far a child's imagination can go with words meant to shield them from painful truths.

This film was created over the course of one week. It is a silent-era inspired short film that I made around Halloween for a "Fright Film" assignment.

Based off a poem of the same name, Broken Ankles is a visual poem about the weight of love holding one girl down. This is a personal piece to me, and I wanted to create this to let out what I was feeling. I enjoyed making this film because it allowed me to reflect on my own emotions by transforming them into something visual.

This piece is an excerpt from our most recent film, Killing Me Softly. This film has been the most ambitious film I have ever thought of and worked on.

The Narcissist explores the idea of negligence through the motif of blindness. Although one character is literally blind, metaphorically, both characters are as well. The boy is blind to his sister’s aid; He is so focused on regaining his eyesight that he pushes everyone else away – even if they are trying to help. The girl, however, is also blind.

My artwork is called Deadly Petals. Deadly petals is a Silent Horror romance film. In the beginning of the film it starts off with the 2 characters arguing and quickly escalates when the Girl slaps the Boy when he puts his hand on her shoulder.
