The piece I made is a layered work of acrylic and perspective as making the proportions of the eggs in the basket diagonal to the shading of the light upon them. This artwork took me 3 months to perfect and keep a balance of both realistic and abstract eggs to keep the artsy passion and creativity in my artwork alive. A simple breakfast came to my mind since as a high schooler I always skipped out on it in the morning since it “takes too much time.” My parents eat a hearty breakfast which this image is inspired from every morning. Recently, I have joined them and learned the importance of a home cooked meal and a quick chat. It brightens up my day and I hope we all stop skipping breakfast and enjoy our first and most important meal of the day with those we love.
