My drawing depicts a cartoon-like plane crashing into a childhood favorite character of mine, Pochacco. The plane represents a significant experience which leads to a shift in a child’s perspective of the world, opening a path to maturity, teenage years, and eventually, adulthood. The pochacco being shattered resembles the essence of childhood breaking apart and fading away as we slowly grow older and lose our inner child.

To me, creativity is the ability to express oneself in original and unique ways. It lets us see the world in different ways, helps us with problem solving and other skills, and allows us to bring imagination into real life.
