The two girls in the drawing are characters I made back during quarantine when in was still in middle school on my computer. I recently redesigned them and have started drawing them a lot again. I like drawing them together in dynamic poses and was also working on how to render metal, so I gave them jewels and grills. I also just have a affinity for drawing black and Latino characters and culture as that is what I am and I naturally like to have a part of myself reflected in my art.

To me, creativity is the manifestation of someone’s imagination, physically or not. Creativity is as unique to everyone as creativity is closely connected to someone’s lived experiences.
