• Artist Statement

  I hadn’t ever written poetry until I took a creative writing elective this fall. I realized how fun it is to be like Shakespeare (but more understandable, of course) and found a love for writing sonnets! This was the first sonnet I’ve ever done, and I had so much fun making literature into an activity I enjoy.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity should be fun, something that makes people relate to your ideas and experiences. Creative mediums should bring people together, make them laugh, make them cry, make them smile.
