Wilting

  • Flowers should be allowed to bloom naturally, embracing their beauty in their own time. When plucked too soon, they cannot remain perfect for long. My piece represents young girls who feel pressured by societal standards to reach their peak beauty too early, striving for perfection before experiencing what it truly means to grow up. They rush through childhood, missing the chance to be carefree, playful, and simply themselves. Like flowers forced to open, these girls are left to wilt, feeling drained and wasted, used by society to display only a forced beauty, rather than letting it evolve into something unique and true to every little girl.

  • Creativity has no fixed meaning; it is unique to each person. It manifests in various aspects of life, from voice and actions to writing and expression. The ability to think and express gives life meaning, and when someone chooses to share their thoughts, it confirms that creation will never end.
