A Broken Window To The Soul

Kate E.

  • I grew up hearing “The eye is the window to your soul” and people would say that they knew who people are and how they felt just by looking into a person’s eye. However, I was never good at reading someone’s emotions through their eyes and people rarely knew how I was feeling from my eyes expression. For the longest time, I felt that my eyes, like a window, were “broken”.

  • Exploring my creativity lets me be myself and feel like me, especially when I get worried about how people see me or what people think of me. It reminds me that I can be myself and make things that I think look pretty and that my opinion is what matters to me.
