This piece is my interpretation of Grace Lin’s incredible novel Where the Mountain Meets the Moon.

This piece is part of a series of short pieces for piano and a vocal quartet based on Carl Sandburg poems.

“The Swaying Mountains” is a duet for French horn and piano that explores contrast between energetic, heavily accented passages representing storms surrounding the mountains and slower passages that represent the imaginary swaying of mountains.

"Ode à Cassandre" by Pierre de Ronsard, the French poem I was assigned to study, fascinated me.

“Uneasy Dances” depicts the confused nostalgia of reviving European dance forms of the common practice period in today’s far more disillusioned world.

I use music and song creations to experiment with new concepts and genres.

I created "Illusion" on a software program called Ableton.

I made this song to be a part of our band’s (@comp.ound_fracture) first studio album (work in progress). I composed and recorded every part of the song (except the drums, I composed that with MIDI).

I always try to experiment with unique ways to begin a piece of music, whether it's beginning with an irregular time signature, a catchy and unique rhythm or ostinato, or a mysterious and brooding entrance.

I write, produce, and sing my own songs.

The swings have always been my primary choice of a playground activity.

This piece "Bring Me Back" is an improvisation I did back when I was dealing with grief of someone I loved.

I have loved music all my life, and I study piano, guitar, voice, and multiple other instruments.

This song is one I wrote and recorded for a project in 2020.

I wrote this song in 8th grade. It was the first song I made on piano and it's changed a lot the more I played it.

I created this piece with a simple concept in mind: winter. But as the piece began to develop, I started exploring the intensities, depths, contrasts, and the inherent magic of this season.

I feel like in the past couple of years, music has become such an important thing to me, both listening to music and playing an instrument, so for this, I wanted to try something new and write a song and compose parts for multiple instruments.

My piece sets a passage of Heidegger’s Being and Time to an ensemble of a soprano voice, oboe, clarinet in B-flat, viola, and double bass.

This song is composed of clean electric guitar as well as vocals.
