It may look innocent at first glance -- perhaps metal studs on concrete or bars in the middle of park benches -- but ultimately they serve to keep out the public, making so much public infrastructure uncomfortable or unusable.

The Secret Garden

This is a book cover I designed for the book ”The Secret Garden” by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It is one of my favorite books, and has been since childhood. This peice is my first completed digital project, and my first time drawing digitally since early 8th grade. The front cover depicts the garden mentioned in the title how it is at the beginning of the book, and from an outside perspective. The back cover shows said garden at the end of the book, and from an inside perspective.
